Until recently, I was a designer living in Jersey with my boyfriend and our handsome dog, Winston. I had recently finished graduate school in architecture and was working at a firm in NYC.
Now, I live on the road.
The aforementioned boyfriend and I are now traveling abroad on a design fellowship for the next nine months - which means that as my closet has gotten (considerably!) smaller, I've been forced to exercise greater sartorial creativity than ever before.
the other emily is my way to flex and document my personal style along the way, and to keep myself motivated to think outside the suitcase.
